Tralee Chamber Alliance & Bon Secours Hospital team-up to sponsor Greyhound Racing on RTÉ

TRALEE Chamber Alliance’s message that the town is a quality family holiday destination will reach nearly a quarter of a million people tuning into RTÉ live broadcast from Kingdom Greyhound Stadium this Friday night 21st June.

A donation from the Bon Secours Hospital Tralee’s Community Initiative to Tralee Chamber Alliance has made it possible to post a sponsors’ message at the start and end of the broadcast and during two commercial breaks.

The programme will be broadcast between 8.30pm to 9.30pm and it will feature a number of races that will form part of the Kerry GAA Night of Champions.

The CEO of Tralee Chamber Alliance, Kieran Ruttledge, said: “We are most grateful to the Bon Secours Hospital Tralee who have provided us with the necessary funds to sponsor the programme on RTE Two. Our message to nearly 250,000 viewers will see us promote Tralee as being ‘first out of the traps every time for a great family break – there’s more to see at Tralee.ie’. The Bon Secours Hospital Tralee is the Healthcare Partner to the GAA and together with Tralee Chamber Alliance, we wish to congratulate the Kerry County Board for all their work in staging the Night of Champions at Kingdom Greyhound Stadium.”

Viewers to RTÉ Two Television on the night, from Donegal to Wexford and from Galway to Dublin, will have a chance to win a wonderful prize courtesy of Tralee Chamber Alliance and many of its members.

One lucky viewer will win a luxury family break at Ballygarry House Hotel & Spa in Tralee where they will enjoy a 2-night mid-week stay, spa treatments and dinner plus a round of golf at the world famous Arnold Palmer-designed Tralee Golf course. The winner will receive a multi-attraction family pass to the Aqua Dome, Bowling Buddies, The Playdium, Tralee Bay Wetlands Centre and Kerry County Musuem as well as a pair of tickets to both Rose of Tralee selection nights in the Dome this August. If that wasn’t enough, the Bon Secours Hospital Tralee will give the winner a pair of tickets to the GAA All-Ireland Senior Football Final at Croke Park next September!

The Bon Secours Hospital Tralee provides modern healthcare with traditional values, is among the top five hospitals in Ireland and is part of the not-for-profit Bon Secours Health System. The Hospital in Tralee has been serving County Kerry for over 90 years and during that time it has commanded a well-earned and enviable reputation for offering the highest standards in patient care, delivered with the utmost compassion.
