THE Bon Secours Hospital Tralee has announced that it’s to continue as the Healthcare Partner to Kerry GAA for another year.
Whether it’s Colm ‘Gooch’ Cooper, Kieran ‘Star’ Donaghy or club officials from Listowel to Listry, the expertise and facilities will continue to be available whenever the need may arise.
To celebrate the decision, All-Ireland winning Kerry players Barry John Keane and Marc O Se brought the Sam Maguire and Tom Markham Cups to the Hospital in Tralee where patients, staff and their families were pictured with their heroes.
The Manager of the Bon Secours Hospital Tralee, Donna Roche, said: “It takes hard work to reach the top, whether it’s in the medical field or on the football field. We have enjoyed two wonderful years as the Healthcare Partner to Kerry GAA and we are proud to have played a part in the All-Ireland success experienced by the Senior and Minor Football teams this year. The team at the Bon Secours Hospital Tralee encompass a comprehensive range of clinical specialties and diversity of sub-specialty interests that will meet the needs of Kerry club and inter-county players of the past, present and future.”
Before Kerry secured the All-Ireland double, the Bon Secours Hospital Tralee enjoyed its own success on a national stage in being selected as the Private Hospital of the Year for 2014.
The hospital was confirmed as being the most compliant of all Irish hospitals in the area of hand hygiene only weeks before securing the Joint Commission International Accreditation, the gold standard in global health care.
The Bon Secours Hospital Tralee has been serving County Kerry for over 90 years and during that time it has commanded a well-earned and enviable reputation for offering the highest standards in patient care, delivered with the utmost compassion.
The Bon Secours Hospital Tralee is a proud sponsor of the Rose of Tralee International Festival and is also Healthcare Partner to Limerick GAA.
