KERRY football legend Pat Spillane will put his skills as a GAA Analyst to a new test when he leads the judging panel in a fundraising event for Pieta House at Kirby’s Brogue Inn Tralee on Wednesday 29th April.
Two high profile Tralee footballers will be the Mystery Chefs in The Restaurant on the night and it will be up to Pat, his fellow judges and the dining audience to guess who cooked the food.
The Restaurant, presented by Kirby’s Brogue Inn in association with Connect Publications which is now a year old, is in support of Pieta House who recently opened an office in Tralee.
Pieta House provides a free, therapeutic approach to people who are in suicidal distress and those who engage in self-harm.
The Proprietor of Kirby’s Brogue Inn, Fiona Kirby, said: “Our family has experienced the devastating effects of suicide. Pieta House tackle the issues of suicide and self-harm day after day, issues that have touched every community in Ireland. We are encouraging as many people as possible to come to The Brogue on Wednesday 29th April for a great night that will support the people who need the services offered by the team at Pieta House.”
The Restaurant will feature two 4-Course Menus chosen and cooked by the two Celebrity Chefs, while the audience will enjoy Bubbly on arrival and wine with their meal. A fun night with live music and late bar is guaranteed with Radio Kerry’s Sean Crowley as the Master of Ceremonies and Food Consultant, Melanie Harty joining Pat Spillane in the hot seat as a Judge.
“Space is limited, regardless of how keane you are about good food, the best advice is to book now to avoid missing out on a star night in The Restaurant,” said Fiona Kirby.
Tickets are only €60 each and must be pre-booked through Fiona Kirby at Kirby’s Brogue Inn on 066-7181998 or Margaret Brick on 086-2408237.
