SOMETHING great is cooking in Tralee following the launch of the new Dining in Tralee Booklet at Tralee Bay Wetlands Centre last night (Wednesday 26th March).
The guide features 40 restaurants, cafés, bistros and pubs in the Tralee and surrounding area offering visitors and locals an insight into the great choice and variety to suit all palates – young and old – all year round.
Launched by the Deputy Mayor of Tralee, Cllr Mairead Fernane and published by Tralee Chamber Alliance, the Dining in Tralee Booklet is a one-size-fits-all directory with contact details of all participating eateries and hostelries.

New Dining in Tralee Booklet offers great menu of tasty choices along the Wild Atlantic Way
The Chief Executive of Tralee Chamber Alliance, Kieran Ruttledge, said: “As one of Ireland’s top 10 tourist towns, Tralee’s new Dining in Tralee Booklet will accompany the title like a good wine accompanies a great meal. It is something to keep in the glove compartment of your car, you’re your handbag, on your hall table or hotel reception desk. From a local perspective, the better informed we are, the more we can tell our visitors about where they can dine and spend their money locally.”
The launch of the Dining in Tralee Booklet came at an opportune time when Tralee has been unveiled as a major destination along the Wild Atlantic Way.
To coincide with the publication of the Dining in Tralee Booklet, Tralee Chamber Alliance has produced a new information leaflet to showcase Tralee Bay as the ideal base from where to explore the Wild Atlantic Way in Kerry.
“It highlights Tralee Bay’s cultural gems, family attractions and thrill-seeking activity for adventure tourists,” said Kieran Ruttledge.
Both booklets are available from Tralee Chamber Alliance, all Hotels, participating dining outlets, Tralee Tourist Office, Siamsa Tire Theatre and Kerry County Museum.
