New Austrian charter flight waltzes into Kerry to mark start of new summer service

OVER 2000 passengers will fly into Kerry over the coming months following the commencement of a new charter service from Graz, the second largest airport in Austria.

The red carpet was rolled out and the champagne was flowing at Kerry Airport to welcome the first 200 people who arrived into the Kingdom on the first flight which landed just after 8.30am.

The Manager of Kerry Airport, Peter Moore, said: “These charters will operate throughout the months of April, May and June with flights arriving into Kerry from Graz Airport which is the 2nd largest airport in Austria and Linz Airport which is the 3rd largest airport in Austria. This charter series will bring 2,200 tourists directly into the county of Kerry. This is the first charter series of its kind into Kerry and the first charter series of its kind from Austria.”
