RTÉ presenter, Dáithí Ó Sé took a well-earned break from his Rose of Tralee duties to officially open the new multi-million euro diagnostic imaging facility at Bon Secours Hospital, Tralee. The facility offers timely access to radiology for almost 30,000 patients in the Kerry region and surrounding areas. The partnership between the Bon Secours and Alliance Medical is part of the Bon Secours Health System’s €150m investment strategy across its hospital network in Ireland.
The upgraded MRI and CT technology at the hospital offers faster and more comfortable scans for patients with the capability to perform a wider range of CT examinations and an unrivalled MRI image quality. Together with Bon Secours in Tralee, Alliance Medical provides access to MRI and CT scans for people in the Kerry region and surrounding areas.
Patients from the Kerry region can attend the facility for General X-Ray/Fluoroscopy/Ultrasound/DEXA/CT. The unit is accessible by GP Referral and fast access and timely appointments are available.
