KERRY Airport will handle thousands of passengers over the Christmas period with people travelling between the Kingdom and Germany, London, Dublin and, through connections at Dublin Airport, further afield.
Passengers have been advised to check their airlines for details of any changes to schedules over the next fortnight, in particular on Christmas Eve, St Stephen’s Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
Kerry Airport will close at 2.15pm on Christmas Eve, reopening at 11.30am on St Stephen’s Day, Thursday 26th December. Kerry Airport will be closed on Christmas Day, Wednesday 25th December.
The airport will operate as normal until 4.30pm on New Year’s Eve, Tuesday 31st December when it will close. It will reopen at midday on New Year’s Day, Wednesday 1st January.
Passengers are advised to allow plenty of time for their journeys and to follow the guidelines set by the airlines in relation to cabin baggage allowances and to have liquids, gels and pastes ready for security inspections.
