Kerry Airport confirms the return of the Faro flight series for Summer 2018

KERRY Airport is delighted to announce, in association with Ryanair, the return of the popular Summer Sun route direct from Kerry to Faro in Portugal.

The twice weekly service will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays for the months of June, July, August & September with the first flight starting on Saturday 2^nd June 2018.

Commenting on the announcement, Mr. Denis Cregan, Chairman of Kerry Airport, said: “We welcome the return of this very popular flight to Faro for the 2018 season and this nicely complements our existing Alicante series operating on Mondays and Fridays. Faro has been serviced from Kerry since 2010 and Airport management made a strong case to our colleagues in Ryanair to continue the series for 2018.  We are particularly delighted to advise that the flights extend into September giving an additional 9 x flights over last season. We would like to extend our thanks to Ryanair for all their efforts in securing an aircraft to service the route and can advise that bookings can be made on www.ryanair.com as of today.  We would also like to thank our loyal customers who waited patiently over the past number of months for this announcement and we now encourage the people of Kerry and the surrounding region to support this flight so that we can continue this service into 2019 and beyond.”

Kerry/Faro Flight Details are as follows

OUT-Bound:

• Tuesday – Depart Kerry: 1305 hrs | Arrive Faro: 1550 hrs
• Saturday – Depart Kerry: 1930 hrs |Arrive Faro: 2215 hrs

IN-Bound:

• Tuesday – Depart Faro: 0955 hrs | Arrive Kerry: 1240 hrs
• Saturday – Depart Faro: 1620 hrs | Arrive Kerry: 1905 hrs
