BUSINESS people in Tralee are invited to a Breakfast Briefing next week when they will learn how to use their connections to help create jobs in Ireland and also receive a cash reward for doing so.
Michael McLoughlin, the CEO of Connect Ireland, will host the meeting which will take place at 8am on Wednesday 12th March in the Imperial Hotel, Denny Street, Tralee.
Connect Ireland is an innovative way to create new jobs in Ireland by harnessing the power of the global Diaspora – at home and abroad. Their mission is to attract foreign companies that are expanding internationally to Ireland through ordinary people – creating jobs and securing the future of the Irish economy.
The CEO of Tralee Chamber Alliance, Kieran Ruttledge, said: “If you know or learn through one of your contacts, of a company that is considering expansion, simply pass that information on to Connect Ireland. They will contact the company and speak with the decision maker there in order to set up a meeting and explain the benefits of locating in Ireland. If Connect Ireland are successful in influencing them to expand into Ireland, the connector who gave the lead at the outset will receive a financial reward from the government.”
Any Individual who introduces a company to Connect Ireland that subsequently invests and creates jobs in Ireland will receive a minimum reward of €1,500 per job up to a maximum of 100 jobs.
Connect Ireland recently became a proud Corporate Sponsor of the Rose of Tralee International Festival, recognising the role the event plays in connecting the global Irish community.
“The Irish abroad are very powerful and we need to ask them to help Ireland’s recovery through the creation of jobs in Kerry where the quality of life is second to none,” said Kieran Ruttledge.
Admission to the Connect Ireland Breakfast Briefing is free to members of Tralee Chamber Alliance and only €10 for non-members.
Anyone who wishes to attend the event is asked to register their place by contacting Yvonne@Tralee.ie or phone 066-7121472.
