Irish online flower store, Flowers.ie is latest new sponsor of Rose of Tralee International Festival

AT approximately 11.15pm on Tuesday 23rd August over 800,000 TV viewers will see the 2016 Rose of Tralee being presented with a bouquet of Roses from Flowers.ie.

Flowers.ie, an online flower store which offers a delivery service throughout Ireland and worldwide through a network of florists, has been unveiled as an official sponsor of the Rose of Tralee International Festival for 2016.

The newly crowned Dublin Rose, Lorna Whyte, announced the new sponsorship at the Flowers.ie shop in Blackrock, Dublin.

The Commercial Manager of the Rose of Tralee International Festival, Steve Cronly, said: “Roses of the floral kind are synonymous with the Rose of Tralee International Festival and we are delighted to welcome Flowers.ie on board as an official sponsor in 2016. We are also excited by the level of commitment already being shown by the Flowers.ie team and we are looking forward to welcoming them to Tralee in August.”

Before presenting the new 2016 Rose of Tralee with her bouquet, Flowers.ie will also supply 65 Rose Escorts with their button-hole roses and decorate the Gala Rose Ball with 160 table arrangements in the Festival Dome on Friday 19th August.

This year’s extended Rose of Tralee Festival will run for seven days from 17-23 August and tickets to all Dome and Street events are now available from www.RoseofTralee.ie.
