Festival Fever is positively infectious, says Tralee Chamber Alliance CEO

FESTIVAL fever is spreading through Tralee and the only cure is to get out and enjoy everything that the Rose of Tralee International Festival has to offer.

The Chief Executive of Tralee Chamber Alliance, Kieran Ruttledge, described the positivity surrounding last year’s Festival as ‘infectious’ and he said that this year’s extended event to celebrate the Rose Gathering will do much to boost the local economy.

“The 2012 Rose of Tralee International Festival was an economic success, generating €7 million, so the onus is on the local business community to remain positive and continue their support of the event this year,” said Kieran Ruttledge.

He congratulated the entire team of organisers who work tirelessly to bring such a diverse and attractive entertainment line-up to suit families and party-goers of all ages.

Kieran Ruttledge paid tribute to Anthony O’Gara, Oliver Hurley, Danny Leane, Bryan Carr, their respective teams and everyone who supported the street entertainment through their financial contributions.

Tralee Chamber Alliance is encouraging everyone to continue their support for the Rose of Tralee International Festival and other upcoming events that will draw large crowds to the town.
