Extra Flights Through Kerry Airport Over Christmas

THOUSANDS of passengers will travel through Kerry Airport over Christmas on flights from London, Manchester, Frankfurt Hahn and Dublin.

Ryanair already operates a twice-weekly service to Manchester on Wednesdays and Sundays with three additional flights set to operate over the festive season on 22 and 29 December and 5 January.

The CEO of Kerry Airport, John Mulhern, said, “We realise that many passengers may not have been home for Christmas since 2019 due to the pandemic and we are particularly happy to facilitate their journeys to see loved ones at this time of year. On behalf of the Board, management and staff at Kerry Airport, I wish our customers and passengers safe travels and Happy Christmas and New Year in 2023.”

Passengers are advised to check their airlines for details of any changes to schedules over the next fortnight, in particular on Christmas Eve, St Stephen’s Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

Kerry Airport will close at 6.00pm on Christmas Eve, reopening at 9.00am on St Stephen’s Day,
Monday 26th December. Kerry Airport will be closed on Christmas Day, Sunday 25th December.

The airport will operate as per normal, 9.00am to 6.00pm on New Year’s Eve, Saturday 31st
December and reopening at 9.00am on New Year’s Day, Sunday 1st January.

Passengers are advised to allow plenty of time for their journeys and to follow the guidelines set by the airlines in relation to cabin baggage allowances.

Kerry Airport is ideally located for anyone wishing to travel for business or pleasure with direct flights to London-Stansted, London-Luton, Frankfurt-Hahn, Manchester, Dublin, Alicante (summer 2023) & Faro (summer 2023) with Ryanair.

There is ample and great value parking at Kerry Airport as well as friendly service in the Duty-free Shop and Peig Sayers Bar in Departures.
