THE most egg-citing programme of fun for kiddies over the Easter Bank Holiday March 29th to April 1st has been unwrapped for the 2013 Tír na nÓg Children’s Festival in Tralee.
Princesses Yasmine Ryle, Daisy Nowak and Ciara Drummey were joined by the Easter Bunny, Fionán O’Carroll this morning to announce details of the children’s events that will be available in Tralee during Easter.
The President of Tralee Chamber Alliance, Pádraig McGillicuddy, said: “The people of Tralee have a wonderful opportunity to invite friends and family from far and near to come to Tralee for the Easter break. Whether it’s for a weekend break or simply visiting for the day, there is a lot to do and see in Tralee. The town’s hotels and tourist attractions deserve our thanks and support after coming together again this Easter under the Tír na nÓg Children’s Festival banner.”
Easter will come hard on the heels of a fun-packed St Patrick’s Day in Tralee and some of events to watch out for from Good Friday until Easter Monday include:
Easter Egg Hunts, Puppet Shows, FREE children’s parties, Duck-A-Thon, Teddy Bears Picnic, Bonny Baby Competition, Bowling, Arty Bits Craft Fair, Tralee Bay Wetlands Centre, Spring Nature Trail, family night at Kingdom Greyhound Stadium, Bouncy Castles, FREE Entry for children to the Kerry County Museum, a Carousel in the Square and much more.
