THE Bon Secours Hospital Tralee has won the “Best Private Hospital in Ireland” title at the 2014 Irish Healthcare Centre Awards.
The result was announced at an awards ceremony in Dublin. Celebrating best practice in the country’s healthcare sector, the awards showcase the best of Irish healthcare in centres, services, skills, innovation, achievements and medical excellence across the full range of healthcare centres in Ireland.

The Manager of the Bon Secours Hospital Tralee, Donna Roche, said: “The award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of all the staff who provide excellent care to patients. It is an honour to be regarded as the top Private Hospital in Ireland and we are looking forward to maintaining that position over into the future.”
In 2013, the Bon Secours Hospital Tralee was shortlisted as one of the Top Five Hospitals in the Hospital of the Year Category and was the first Bon Secours Hospital to be represented at the awards.
The Irish Healhcare Centre Awards are presented to public and private hospitals, primary care centres, nursing homes, mental health centres and home-care services all over Ireland and an esteemed and experienced panel of judges assessed the applications from all categories.
