The Manager of the Bon Secours Hospital Tralee, Donna Roche, said: “We will continue to provide the best quality care to our patients while remaining economically grounded to achieve long-term success. Throughout 2013, we welcomed the arrival of four new Consultants and we aim to further expand our range of services to patients over the coming years. In June 2013, we opened a new Consultation Centre in the heart of Limerick City to serve the medical needs of people in Limerick and the Midwest Region.”
All of the Consultant Services are available 24/7 with an on-call Consultant Service that is prepared to accept referrals from GPs, including SouthDoc, every day of the year.
The figures for 2013 were announced to coincide with the annual celebration of the establishment of the Bon Secours Sisters 190 years ago.
On Foundation Day in Tralee, more than 50 staff members at the Bon Secours Hospital Tralee were presented with long-service awards in recognition of their commitment, over many years, across a range of Departments.

“All care is local and, as such, word of mouth in a small locality is vital for our success. Our people are our strength and we value their dedication to providing quality healthcare to those who need it most,” said Donna Roche.
